From Colombo, it is about a 4-hour journey via the Southern Expressway. If you are coming from Hambantota, which is a good base to explore the surrounding area, it will take about 45 minutes to get there.

You can also take a domestic flight to Mattala Airport from Colombo. From there, it's about a 1-hour drive to reach Kirinda. 


Best Time to Visit

The ideal time to visit Kirinda Beach is from November to April. During this period, the weather is generally pleasant and suitable for outdoor activities.
